What they don’t tell you
This tranquil retreat offers excellent parking and a lovely outdoor seating area. The river footpath leads you to local pubs and shops just a 10-minute walk away. Samantha’s hospitality shines through with a delicious breakfast and thoughtful tea service. A must-visit for anyone traveling in a car or on a bike!

what a tragically woeful experience at trem hyfryd b&b. I was almost impressed, but alas—the shower had mould, and the towels smelled worse than a soggy sock. how dare they hold breakfast hostage! no staff in sight to cater to my needs. I expected at least a complimentary gesture, but I guess that’s too much to ask for a regular guest.

Just a great match for a weekend break in Dolgellau with good value for money. The shower had strong pressure which felt refreshing after a long day. Make sure to check the parking situation ahead of time.

We loved the fantastic breakfast, which fueled us for our hikes. The location is perfect, just a short walk into town with numerous scenic routes right outside. Staying with our older kids made the outdoor adventures even more nice!
My wife says that the rooms could use a refresh.

Had a great stay with friends! We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast and appreciated the comfy rooms. Hiking and cycling in the area were a blast, with some beautiful trails nearby to explore. Ample parking made it easy for our group to come and go. Highly recommend for a laid-back getaway!
One downside was the difficulty finding the place in the dark upon arrival. The notice on the door was hard to see. A little more lighting around the entrance would go a long way!
